This is a link to an essay on how to care well for people who seek help from physicians. The comments are based on my experiences as a physician, one formed by my parents, Lena Marie Link Spaeth and Edmund Benjamin Spaeth, by Ann Ward Spaeth, to whom I was married for the entire time I was a practicing physician, and by our children, Kristin Lea Spaeth Crowley, George Link Spaeth Jr, and Eric Edmund Spaeth. 
This essay is based on the fact that physicians can help a person heal themselves. The essay does not reflect standard ways of thinking. I believe it to have thoughts rarely expressed. Nevertheless I consider the thoughts and methods sound. I feel comfortable in saying that what I write here will help individual persons be as healthy as they can be.
It is only a fragment but I believe it to be honest and important, a good, original contribution.
